I suppose I should introduce myself - hi there! My name is Alex and I am 24 years old. As you may have guessed, I am an avid lover of books and have been looking for the right place to spill all of my book-related thoughts and opinions. What better place than my very own blog?

You can pretty much find me reading, no matter where I am - in this case it would be tucked into bed with a hot cup of tea….

As I reignite my love for books, I’ve come to wonder if every book is five-star outstanding or if I’m just simply that easily entertained? Hopefully starting this blog with reviews will refine my taste and allow me to narrow down exactly what it is that I prefer to read in a novel.

My go-to genres include romance, fantasy, and thrillers, though I’ve been slowly diving into horror and historical fiction!

I ‘m not one to annotate my books, though I have tried in the past. I definitely want to explore new ways to immerse myself in each book I’m reading so I will definitely be sharing this little journey!

I prefer a larger chunk of time sit down and read, however I will take advantage of my lunch break every so often. I can’t help but read on my break during the fall; my favorite time of year to read is a chilly New England autumn - cozied up in a sweater or blanket outside in the crisp air.
